Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Media) from Queensland University of Technology, André has served in various roles (assistant director, vision switcher, production assistant, continuity, and data wrangler) with Alpha Media Services, SportsLink, Channel 9, Channel 7, Wild Bunch Media, Brisbane Council, and Brisbane Esports. André's eagerness and passion for filmmaking and production has also seen him serve as a runner, cameraman, cable wrangler, key grip, gaffer and best body in several television productions.
I have prior and ongoing experience in these roles, having previously worked as a Cameraman, Cable Wrangler, Vision Switcher, Assistant Director, Production Assistant and Runner for Alpha Media Services, SportsLink, Channel 9, Channel 7, Wild Bunch Media, Brisbane Council and Brisbane Esports, and currently serving as Assistant Director, Production Assistant and Runner on several Cairns-based film productions.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Media) and a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education, and have relevant skills and experience in filmset, live broadcasting, industry standard cameras, lighting and audio, production roles (continuity, data wrangler, key grip, gaffer and best boy), vision switching and steadicam operation (gimbles and dollies). I am a passionate, versatile and enthusiastic team member in any production. I am a resident of Far North Queensland and hold a full driver’s licence.
