Andy Johnston (he/him) is a queer actor, screenwriter, creative producer and drag artist. Inspired by subversive storytelling methods and evocative aesthetics, Andy engages the Queer lens to examine Loneliness, Identity and Love. Passionate, generous and purpose driven, he is an curious storyteller with credits spanning stage and screen. Andy is a graduate of the Victorian College of Arts’ Master of Screen Producing degree where he was awarded the Orloff Family Trust Award for excellence. He is also a dedicated advocate for the normalisation of sustainable workflows, inclusion and access practices and he takes great pride in raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues and prevention strategies in the screen industry.
