Alexander (he/him) is a young writer-director living and working on Bundjalung Country. He boasts a growing list of credits and expanding recognition with a body of work across narrative shorts, music videos and film criticism.
Between 2014 to 2021, he authored hundreds of film reviews for the now-closed Barrier Daily Truth, Broken Hill’s only newspaper, published weekly. His most recent short "Hiraeth" screened as part of the 2023 editions of the St Kilda Film Festival and the Byron Bay International Film Festival. That same year, Rage awarded two music videos he directed with their Wild One badges. His music videos have also been programmed on MTV and received international publicity.
In mid-2024, he joined the Screenworks team as Programs Assistant.
