Amy Hoogenboom

Having started out in Film and TV Production, Amy then side-stepped into the world of Film, Music and Arts Festival Production.

As well as experience in a TV Production environment as a Production Secretary and having undertaken many years of freelance video and photography work, Amy has since worked in Festival production extensively including Flickerfest Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Edinburgh Film Festival and IDFA (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam). She also has a background in film programming and judging for Festivals, is currently on the programming team for Flickerfest Film Festival and also has been a judge for the ATOM Awards and for the Berlin Female Filmmakers Festival.

On top of this she has organised Artist Logistics for the past 10 years as the Artist Transport Coordinator for Bluesfest Byron Bay as well as for Sydney Festival and undertaken roles with Adelaide Fringe Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and event managed major art exhibitions.

Currently Amy is working with Screen Producers Australia as the Programming Coordinator for SCREEN FOREVER.

Skills & Experience

As Above, I have experience as a Production Secretary in a Television Environment as well as in freelance video and photography work.

I have extensive experience in festival and event management including as a Production Coordinator, Film Programmer, Event Manager and extensive experience managing artist logistics.

I am highly organised, creative, efficient, have exceptional communication and people skills and am technologically savvy, possessing a great working understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail and Google Docs, Monday, Sharepoint and have used a variety of databases, including Filemaker Pro, Fiona and Eventival.
