I have always had an avid interest in film and television and the processes behind them. Particularly as these processes relate to writing, directing, and design. As a teenager I committed to pursuing this field as a career path and was accepted into AFTRS' inaugural Bachelor of Arts (Screen) course in 2015. Since graduating at the end of 2017 many of my professional pursuits have related to roles within the art department. Production design is an area of filmmaking I enjoy, however it has not stopped me from maintaining a keen interest in screenwriting and working to further my skills as a writer. Since graduating I have continued to write and develop multiple screenplay ideas, as well as working towards writing and directing my own short films. I particularly enjoy drawing from my own experiences as a queer biracial person growing up in, and now once more, living in a regional town. My goal moving forward is to attain the skills and experience to write at a professional level.
